I am a 31-yr old fly-fishing fanatic, with over a decade of fly-fishing experience in the wilderness of BC and Alberta. I have been writing about fly-fishing for 10 years and have taught many friends, family, and clients to fly-fish; there is nothing I love more than sharing my passion for this sport with others. I am a graduate of the Wildlife and Fisheries program at the University of Northern British Columbia and currently work as a fisheries biologist based in Smithers, BC. My focus as a writer is to capture the magic of fly-fishing and inspire respect and appreciation for all of nature, while promoting conservation of native fish and wild places.
